On Saturday, August 23rd, Matchbox drives into Manhattan and parks at Chelsea Piers Chelsea Piers, officially Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex, is a series of sports and entertainment buildings constructed on four adjoining piers on the West Side of Manhattan in New York City. : Pier Sixty and Pier Sixty-two from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. A one-of-a-kind police vehicle decorated with hundreds of Matchbox cars will be on display with its designer, self-proclaimed "King of Art" Stephen "Hoop" Hooper.
