ADVISORY/Martin Sheen to Introduce The Irish Tenors as They Salute the Hopes and Dreams of America and Its Immigrants in a Concert on Ellis Island, Tuesday, March 6.

WHO:   The Irish Tenors -- Finbar Wright, Ronan Tynan and Anthony
       Kearns -- a bonafide music phenomenon in the United States with
       two major-hit, PBS music specials, two popular national tours
       (from Madison Square Garden to L.A.'s Greek Theater) and more
       than a million CDs sold worldwide. Their self-titled debut
       album has been on the Billboard World Music Charts for 102
       consecutive weeks. Martin Sheen, in agreeing to host The Irish
       Tenors show, commented through his agent Glynnis Liberty, "I'm
       doing it because they're great and I love them."

WHAT:  Concert to air as on-location Public Television Special
       celebrating Ellis Island. "Ellis Island" will also be released
       on March 6 as an audio recording in CD and cassette formats,
       and the televised version will be available on video and DVD in
       September.

WHERE: Ellis Island, in the Registry Hall in the main building
       Tickets - $250
       Limited tickets available to the general public.

WHEN:  Tuesday, March 6 (just in time for St. Patrick's Day)
       8 p.m.

WHY:   The Irish Tenors will honor the determination and triumph of
       those who braved the voyage to America, as well as their
       descendants. Broadcasts of "Ellis Island" will air on public
       television during viewer pledge drives between March 12 and
       March 18.
