WHAT:             Slates(R) Janet Howard(R) will make its hometown
                  debut this Wednesday night during its first trunk
                  show at Macy's Union Square. The trunk show will
                  showcase a live, runway fashion show unveiling the
                  new holiday 2000 and spring 2001 lines, as well as
                  feature remarks from San Francisco-based designer
                  Janet Howard. The event marks the first trunk show
                  for the new line as well as the official debut of
                  the new line by designer Janet Howard.
