ADVISORY...for Thursday (June 5, 2003)

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2003

MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta:

WHAT: "What Private Equity Investors are Looking For" -- A follow-up to the MIT Enterprise Forum's highest attended broadcast ever in 1999 on the same topic. The broadcast will focus on the current environment for start-ups and early-stage companies with a look at the best practices for attracting attention from investors.

"We thought it was time to revisit this important topic," says Edmund M. Dunn, CEO of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. " With investors much more careful with their money than four years ago, we hope to help our audience understand how they can help their start-up ventures rise above the pack in their attempt to attract angel investors and VC funding."

Moderating the broadcast is Paul Ferri, founding partner of Matrix Partners. He is joined by a handpicked panel of experts from a range of backgrounds and experiences including Noubar Afeyan of Flagship Ventures; Alec Dingee, co-founder and director of the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and chairman and founder of Kortec, Inc.; Helen Greiner, co-founder and president of iRobot Corporation; and Allan Wallack, former CEO and President of Spring Tide Networks.
