WHAT: Dan Dariel of M-Systems' (Nasdaq:FLSH) Fortress Security
Division will be one of the featured presenters at "The
State of Trust in Cyberspace" seminar at CardTech/SecurTech
(CTST) 2003.
Speaking on the topic of "Implementing Cost-Effective
Security" with moderator Clain Anderson, director of client
security, IBM, Dariel will describe the most widespread
means of attack on mobile systems and applications. Various
software and hardware-based methods to prevent these attacks
will be discussed. This presentation will assist in the
identification of the most cost-effective technologies to
meet particular security needs.
Dariel, manager of M-Systems' Fortress Security Division
(formerly Fortress U&T), has expertise in managing projects
using smartcard technology, cryptography, secured protocols
and standards and managed the embedded group at Fortress
U&T. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering and
an M.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering, both from
Ben-Gurion University.
