   Lynn Martin, former Secretary of Labor and current chair of
Deloitte & Touche's Council on the Advancement of Women will speak to
guests at the Metropolitan Club about the Changing Face in the Corner
Office: Women, Leadership and Mentoring.
   Speaking from her wide range of experience, Ms. Martin will share
stories, wisdom, and insights gained in over thirty years of achieving
leadership roles and ensuring their accessibility for others.

   When/Where:
   Metropolitan Club (Sears Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive) on April 29,
2003 from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m.

   Who:
   Named one of the fifteen Women of the Century by the Chicago
Sun-Times, Ms. Martin led a distinguished political and professional
career. While Secretary of Labor from 1991 to 1993, she established
the Glass Ceiling Commission and encouraged corporations and labor
organizations to promote women and minorities to top managerial
positions. While serving in the U.S. Congress, she was the first woman
to achieve an elective leadership post when, in 1984, her colleagues
chose her to be the Vice Chair of the Republican Conference, a
position she held for four years.
