BACKGROUND: Wilson Elementary, which will open in October, is the
first public school designed and built under Senate Bill
50 (SB 50) and Proposition 1A, the $6.7 billion school
bond measure. SB 50 changed the way in which schools
could be financed and built, allowing developers in new
communities to negotiate with school districts the option
of building schools up front with the developer fees.
This type of venture, like Woodrow Wilson Elementary
School, is projected to save Californians millions of tax
dollars and help eliminate school overcrowding.
The dedication event is being sponsored by The Forecast
Group, developer of the Eagle Glen community and school,
and TurnKey schools of America, the company that designed
and built Woodrow Wilson Elementary in cooperation with
the Corona-Norco Unified School District. The community
is invited to the dedication ceremony. Student
ambassadors of Wilson Elementary School will welcome
guests.

executives of The Forecast Group and TurnKey Schools of
