        provide services related to enterprise information technology
        system implementations, are encouraged to attend.

WHY:    To learn about the BPI Program; participation opportunities;
        timing; how to register a business with the LADWP;
        opportunities for subcontracting including, but not limited
        to, programming, implementation, change management and
        training; and network with potential partners (primes and
        subcontractors).

The Business Process Improvement (BPI) Program is a comprehensive overhaul of business information systems that will enable the LADWP LADWP Los Angeles Department of Water and Power  to improve business processes. This effort will yield benefits for the Department, employees, and customers. Through the BPI initiative, the LADWP will improve processes and utilize technologies. BPI addresses two primary functions: customer interaction and operations.
