WHAT:   Interactive eventcaster Digevent presents its third installment
        of Backstage Pass, a program featuring real-time discussions
        with hot new bands. Internet users can log on, watch musicians
        perform their songs and send in questions, which may be
        answered live by the band members from the Digevent studio.
        This live video forum allows alternative music fans to rub
        virtual elbows with up-and-coming bands. Fractional Importance
        will perform acoustically.

WHO:    Though so much has changed since their early high-school days
        in 1989, Fractional's unique "melodic hardcore" style continues
        to win over fans in the U.S. and internationally. Currently,
        Fractional is preparing for the long-awaited release of their
        album, titled "Visions," from Dyspathy Records. Expected to
        hit the shelves just before Christmas 2000, the CD will
        feature nine highly anticipated new songs.

WHEN:   Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, 7-8 p.m. PT, 10-11 p.m. ET

        first-time participants should log on immediately to

        "system check" link and follow the instructions, which will
        prepare the computer to participate in the live event.
