WHAT: Folk icon Irving Steinbloom has passed away, leaving behind
a family of performers he had shepherded to folk stardom. To
celebrate a life spent submerged in folk, Irving's loving son
Jonathan (BOB BALABAN) is putting together a memorial concert
featuring some of Steinbloom's best-loved musicians: Mitch &
Mickey (EUGENE LEVY and CATHERINE O'HARA), The Folksmen
(CHRISTOPHER GUEST, MICHAEL McKEAN and HARRY SHEARER), and The
New Main Street Singers (featuring JOHN MICHAEL HIGGINS, JANE
LYNCH and PARKER POSEY). For one night only in New York City's
Town Hall, these three groups will reunite and gather together
to celebrate the music that almost made them famous.
WHO: From the film: CHRISTOPHER GUEST, HARRY SHEARER, JOHN MICHAEL
HIGGINS and JANE LYNCH. They will be joined by celebrity
guests: Ed Begley Jr., Jason Biggs, Jack Black, Michelle
