What:       Students select gifts for family and themselves based on
            academic performance, attendance and behavior. Santa
            greets students.

Background: Adopt-A-School is a specialized partnership emphasizing
            employee involvement that includes reading to students,
            giving presentations to classes on a variety of subjects,
            and providing additional resources to enhance the
            instructional program. In Los Angeles more than 1000
            companies, non-profit organizations and governmental
            agencies have adopted more than 80% of LAUSD schools.
