WHAT:   The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will join SBC to
        announce a technology-enabled initiative to bolster the
        effectiveness of California's Amber Plan, which enlists radio
        stations, television stations and digital roadside signs to
        immediately broadcast alerts after a confirmed case of child
        abduction.

WHO:    -- Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca
        -- Dave Nichols, senior vice president - external affairs, SBC
        -- SBC technicians to demonstrate Amber Alert system
