What: Daniel Garber, a Bainbridge Island youth, will be
named an honorary member of the SAFECO Field
ballpark crew thanks to the Washington Mutual Kids
Inning, a free youth-oriented community program
offered in partnership with the Seattle Mariners.
Special note: April 16 is Daniel Garber's 7th
birthday! What a way to celebrate.
Garber will serve as a member of the ground crew
during the bottom of the third inning of the
Mariner's home game.
In addition to the honorary ballpark crew status,
Garber also received four free tickets to the game.
Altogether, 50 kids will be selected to participate
in a Kids Inning this season.
