ADVISORY/Local 420 Boycott Burger King at Coney Island Hospital.

Business Editors

ADVISORY...for Tuesday Tuesday: see week.  (May 23)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

WHAT: Local 420 boycott Burger King at Coney Island Hospital

    WHEN: Tuesday, May 23, 2000
           1:00 p.m.

    WHERE: Coney Island Hospital
           2601 Ocean Shore Parkway
           Brooklyn, NY

WHY: Local 420, DC 37, AFSCME fight against the city's move to
privatize the employees cafeteria at Coney Island Hospital
by bringing in a franchise called Burger King. The concern
of James Butler President of Local 420 and AFSCME
International Vice-President is the contracting out of
services through the back door and nutritional issues by
serving employees high calorie, fatty fast foods that have
no place in a hospital. James Butler vowed to keep
boycotting until we send Mr. Burger King and his killer
           Whopper packing.

WHO: James Butler, President of Local 420 and AFSCME
           International Vice-President, the Community, Hospital
           Workers, and Clergy.
