unsigned artist to ever have a No. 1 single when her song "Stay (I Missed You)"
shot to the top of the charts in 1993 when director Ben Stiller included the
track in the movie and on the soundtrack for "Reality Bites." She signed to
Geffen Records in 1994, released her debut album, Tails, to commercial and
critical success, earned a Grammy nomination and toured around the world. Her
second CD, Firecracker, spawned the Top 20 song "I Do." Loeb, who now makes her
home in Los Angeles, has kept busy in between recording projects with acting
roles on television and in film including a cameo on the hit sitcom "The Drew
Carey Show" and two appearances on Showtime's "The Chris Isaak Show." She
performed opposite Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush in the film The House on Haunted
Hill in 1999. Her latest musical dish is Cake And Pie, released on A&M Records
February 26, 2002. The CD features the new single "Someone You Should Know."
