ADVISORY/Lee Thompson Young, Star of Disney Channel's The Famous Jett Jackson: The Movie, to Tape Episode of Disney Channel Original Series The Jersey.

News/Assignment & Entertainment Editors

ADVISORY...for Thursday Thursday: see week.  (April 5)

--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)

Thursday, April 5 At Blackwelder Studios

WHO: Lee Thompson Young, star of DISNEY CHANNEL's original series
The Famous Jett Jackson and the upcoming film The Famous Jett
Jackson: The Movie. In The Famous Jett Jackson, Lee plays Jett
Jackson, a kid actor who doubles as the daring action star
Silverstone in his own series. The twist is that Jett has his
show moved from Hollywood to Wilsted, North Carolina so he can
go to school, hang out with his friends, and live with his
family -- just like a regular kid. Lee began acting at the age
of 10 after taking a part in a local theatre production A
Night of Stars and Dreams, in which he played Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr. From there Lee went on to perform his own
one-man show, Young Treasures. The profits from the show
allowed Lee to travel to New York with his mother to pursue
acting professionally. Subsequently, Lee appeared in
commercials for McDonald's and Robitussin, starred in the
DISNEY CHANNEL original movie Johnny Tsunami, had roles in the
television series New York Undercover, the feature film
Peroxide Passion, and was cast in a production of Anna Devere
Smith's play House Arrest. Most recently, Lee was also
featured in Teen Magazine's "Who's That Babe?" column.

WHAT: Guest stars in an episode of DISNEY CHANNEL's original
sports series The Jersey. The episode featuring Lee Thompson
Young tapes Thursday at Blackwelder Studios.

In "Origins," Hilary and Willa are doggedly determined to
track down Lee Thompson Young, star of Disney Channel's The
Famous Jett Jackson and upcoming film The Famous Jett Jackson:
The Movie. These two seasoned reporters will stop at nothing
to interview Lee for their `Zine -- they stake out a
restaurant and even bluff their way onto the tennis courts of
a country club in search of him. The elusive Lee Thompson
Young finally turns up on Hilary's doorstep to return the
jersey, which the MNFC, Hilary and Willa thought had been lost
forever to Blackstone and his evil minions.

In DISNEY CHANNEL's original sports series, The Jersey, a
tired old football jersey is passed down to Nick from his
deceased grandfather, but this is much more than your ordinary
jersey -- it's a magical portal into the world of sports.
Astonishingly, its wearer is transported off the couch, onto
the field and into the cleats, shoes or skates of sports
        heroes.
