WHAT: The e-learning conference has evolved into Learning &
Training Week 2003, an event that delivers more educational
content and technology solutions to improve training and
learning in an enterprise. Attendees to Learning & Training
Week will discover a new generation of innovative training
solutions and learn from real case studies to gain tangible
results. The four-day conference will provide delegates from
three distinct audience segments -- enterprises, government,
and professional educators -- with content designed to
highlight the best solutions to meet their specific learning
and training needs.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
-- Keynote Presentations: On April 29, the Afterburners will
present Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief ... A Fighter Pilot's
Secret to Business Success. This presentation will detail how
fighter pilots operate in a combat environment. On April 30th
Dr. Paul W. Mayberry, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for
Readiness has been invited to discuss the Department's vision
for Training Transformation (T2). On May 1, Industry Guru
Elliott Masie, will discuss Learning Trends and Challenges: A
Keynote and Interactive Panel.
-- FGDLA Primer: The Federal Government Distance Learning
Association (FGDLA) will be hosting a one-day primer to
provide attendees the basic understanding of the distance
learning technologies used in the Federal Government. This
Primer will be held Monday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00
p.m.
-- Macromedia Developer Days: During these invitation-only
strategic briefing sessions, Macromedia will explore effective
strategies to help leaders in business, government, and higher
education deliver great learning experiences that optimize the
deployment of organizational resources. Attendees can submit a
request for an invitation through their conference
registration forms.
-- e-learning Lab: Attendees will be able to get hands on
practical experience with the latest e-learning products and
solutions. The e-learning Lab is set up classroom style on the
show floor and each student will be able to test drive
different products from select companies.
-- USDLA 2003 Distance Learning Awards: The United States
Distance Learning Association, a non-profit organization
founded to promote the development and application of distance
learning for education and training, will present its Annual
Distance Learning Awards.
-- Lunch `N Learn: Join conference speakers and other attendees
at an interactive lunch hour of dining and learning.
Pre-designated topics at each lunch table will help attendees
share ideas, solutions and experiences.
-- First Annual e-learning Charity Golf Classic: Welocalize in
partnership with Learning & Training Week 2003 will host this
charity golf tournament on Friday, May 2, 2003. The Tournament
will be held at Bretton Woods Golf Course to benefit Heads Up,
