We have spoken to a man who was in the vehicle with Aaron Roberts seconds before the shooting. We are not convinced that Officer Neubert's life was in danger at the time of the shooting. 3. We strongly think that an outside agency should control the investigation to prevent any potential tampering of evidence. The scene of the incident is less than 1.5 miles from Harborview Hospital. It took approximately1/2hour to transport Mr. Roberts to Harborview. Also present will be Aaron Deshay Roberts, the son of Aaron Roberts. He was arrested for assault the night of the incident while trying to see his father. He is 16 years old and has already completed high school. Deloris Roberts, the mother of the victim will also be present. She is an employee of King County. |
