WHAT: Labor Ready Labor Ready, Inc., based in Tacoma, Washington, is the United States' largest provider of temporary manual labor to the construction industry, other light industry, and small businesses. Its shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol LRW.  and representatives of the U.S. Department of Labor hold a signing ceremony A signing ceremony is a ceremony in which a bill passed by a legislature is signed (approved) by an executive, thus becoming a law.

Modern-day signing ceremonies are derived from ceremonies that occurred when the British monarch gave Royal Assent to acts of Parliament.
 to announce the launch of the DOL's Voluntary Incentive Program, a new partnership that promotes voluntary compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act Fair Labor Standards Act or Wages and Hours Act, passed by the U.S. Congress in 1938 to establish minimum living standards for workers engaged directly or indirectly in interstate commerce, including those involved in production of goods bound . Tacoma, WA-based Labor Ready, the nation's largest supplier of temporary manual labor, volunteered to be the first company in the country to participate in the plan.
