         industry sources. Topics will include: freight
         transportation, intelligent transportation systems, and
         intermodalism.

DETAILS: Prior to joining LOG-NET, Mead served as an independent
         consultant to the transportation industry, where she worked
         with customers, suppliers/vendors, and transportation
         entities to implement electronic data interchange (EDI)
         business solutions. Her consulting activities included
         determination of the best EDI messages to meet the business
         need, preparation of implementation guidelines based on EDI
         standards, technical assistance in using implementation
         guides to support programming efforts, and reviewing test
         data for adherence to message standards. From 1971 until
         1995, she held numerous positions with American President
         Lines, including: manager of information resources, North
         America headquarters; manager of EDI and customer relations
         systems; and documentation manager. Mead is frequently a
         featured speaker at industry conferences.
