Los Angeles International Airport (IATA: LAX, ICAO: KLAX, FAA LID: LAX
 (LAX) federal security director, will be available for news media interviews as the Transportation Security Administration begins its local two-day recruiting drive for airport security screeners. Stone will be able to describe the program and the process underway at LAX to meet the Nov. 19 deadline for the federalization of security screening of airline passengers.


Event:         One-on-one interview availability with LAX Federal
               Security Director David M. Stone

Day/Time:      Tuesday, August 27, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Location:      Renaissance Hotel, 9620 Airport Boulevard.
               The hotel is the site of the TSA Job Application Center
               from August 27 to August 28. The TSA will conduct
               interviews for applicants at the hotel.
