What: The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and the
Los Angeles Dodgers are launching Water Awareness Month and a
citywide poster contest at a local elementary school with more
than 250 students. Event participants including Dodgers catcher
David Ross, LADWP representatives and City officials will be
speaking to the youngsters about the benefits of using water
wisely and how to "Make Every Drop Count" - the theme of the
poster contest.
Following the presentation, selected children will take-part in
a poster painting activity with the Dodgers catcher and LADWP
representatives to officially commence the citywide water
conservation poster contest.
