         and commendation from the City of Los Angeles

         Speeches by school, community leaders and student body
         officers

         Adoption centers on literacy projects involving LADWP
         employees from Account Management Group of LADWP Power
         Transmission and Distribution Organization assisting school
         and other community partners

BACKGROUND: Adopt-A-School is a specialized partnership emphasizing
            "people to people" contact and mentoring between company
            employees and students. In Los Angeles more than 1,200
            companies, non-profit organizations and government
            agencies have adopted more than 80% of LAUSD schools.
