Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Assistant General
Manager Mahmud Chaudhry, Los Angeles City Councilmember Tom
LaBonge and local community leaders will gather to break ground
at the site of a new power station in the Hollywood/Mid-Wilshire
area. The new power distributing station will ensure the
continued flow of reliable electric power to the residents and
businesses in the area, bring added safety to all neighboring
communities with lighting and advanced facility security, and
enhance neighborhood aesthetics with professionally landscaped
grounds.
