WHAT: Seventh Annual Family Brunch
      Celebration of the family includes:

      -- Focus on Family Award presented to actor, producer and
         musician Andy Garcia.

      -- BEST Friend Award presented to The Home Depot and President
         and CEO Robert L. Nardelli (to be accepted by West Coast
         Division President Bruce Merino)

      -- Special remarks by Olympic bronze medalist Rusty Smith

      -- Honoring 20 LA's BEST children and their families selected
         from winning art and essay entries from the "How My Family
         Makes My Home Special" contest. (Entries were submitted by
         students at LA's BEST schools across the City of Los
         Angeles.)

      -- Display of children's artwork and essays.

      -- Special performances by LA's BEST Dance Group from Baldwin
         Hills Elementary School and LA's BEST Community Drum Circle
         from Albion Elementary School.

WHEN: Sunday, June 2, 2002; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHY: To support LA's BEST After School Enrichment Program. Since
     1988, LA's BEST has been providing a safe and supervised
     education, enrichment and recreation program every day after
     school to children, ages 5 to 12, from Los Angeles' most
     economically challenged neighborhoods - at no cost to parents.
     LA's BEST is a 501c3 non-profit organization, which operates
     through a partnership including the Mayor's Office, the City of
     Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District and the
     private sector.  LA's BEST currently operates in 104 elementary
     schools throughout the City of Los Angeles serving more than
     18,000 children each school day. For more information on LA's

NOTE: For security reasons, media representatives must RSVP attendance
      by 3 p.m. on Friday, May 31, at 213-489-8212 for clearance to
      enter the Sony Pictures Entertainment facility.  Media also must
