Mike Schiavo, Partner and CFO, Kodiak Venture Partners

Mike Schiavo has been active in private equity-related activities since 1983. Prior to joining Kodiak Venture Partners, he worked as a financial consultant to companies including A.M. Pappas & Associates LLC, HarbourVest Partners, MPM Management, Memory Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Parthenon Capital, Inc., Relevant Technologies, Inc., and TVM Techno Venture Management. Previously, Schiavo was a co-founding General Partner and Chief Financial Officer of MVP Ventures, a Boston-based private equity firm, responsible for administration of fund-related activities and investment due diligence, Controller of Advent International Corporation, and Assistant Controller of TA Associates.

Schiavo has served on the Board of Directors of KVH Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KVHI) and ADS Technologies, Inc. and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Boston Private Bank & Trust. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Siena College, an M.B.A. from Suffolk University, and an M.S. in Taxation from Bentley College. Schiavo is also a Certified Management Accountant.
