WHO:     Kirk Douglas, known worldwide as an outstanding actor, will
         appear at Media Play to meet his fans and autograph his
         latest books &uot;Young Heroes of the Bible&uot; and
         &uot;The Broken Mirror.&uot;

WHAT:    In &uot;Young Heroes of the Bible,&uot; Kirk Douglas retells five
         stories about young heroes from the Old Testament. The
         biblical stories about Abraham, Rebecca, Miriam, Joseph and
         David are told in a way that appeals to children and in a way
         in which they can relate and understand.

         In &uot;The Broken Mirror,&uot; Douglas tells a moving story
         about a young boy's flight from his past after his
         family's demise in a 1930s Nazi concentration camp.
         The story reminds readers that they must embrace
         their most painful memories to uncover a brighter
         future through a timeless tale of loss of faith and
         its recovery.
