Iraq's minister of electricity, Aihman al-Sammarae, will meet with KeySpan Chairman & CEO, Robert B. Catell, and other energy experts to discuss ongoing energy issues in Iraq. Some areas of discussion will be:

-- KeySpan's integration model of electric and natural gas

service

-- The rapid expansion needed in Iraq's generation capacity

-- New technology in generation and transmission and distribution

-- Collection and transportation of natural gas

-- Iraq's challenges in financing necessary infrastructure

The minister of electricity will also be meeting with representatives of the United Nations today.
