WHAT: The Orange County Earth Day Festival returns for its seventh
year -- the largest Earth Day event in Southern California
-- with over 20,000 people estimated to attend this year's
festival. As in past years, there is no admission charge, and
the festival is open to the people of all ages.
WHO: Presented by KROQ 106.7 FM and hosted by Puck from MTV's
"The Real World," the OC Earth Day festival will feature
music from 21 bands on three stages, including acts such as
Lit, Eve6, Zebrahead, Dramarama's John Easdale, Supersuckers,
Death on Wednesday, Lefty, Mind Driver, Handsome Devil,
The Color Red, The Mosleys, Rumblefish, Adam Misfortune,
Bitch Box, Wagner, Burnin Groove, Elseworth, Trak 13,
Bullets N' Octane, Death by Stereo and OPM. Also in
attendance will be the mayor of Fullerton, Don Bankhead;
Orange County Supervisor Chris Norby, KROQ personality
Stryker and modern artist Paul Frank.
