KMC Telecom, a leading provider of competitive local telecommunications services, will hold its Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 27, 2000 at the TPC at Prestancia, located at 4409 TPC Drive in Sarasota, Fla.

The tournament will benefit the United Way of Sarasota County, a local division of the United Way of America. United Way's mission is to create partnerships between people and social services to enhance the quality of life in Sarasota and the surrounding areas.

A shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m., following check-in and a luncheon beginning at 11:15 a.m. The event format is a four-person scramble. An awards ceremony with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will follow the tournament.
