What is Executives Executives from local corporations and
Go Elementary? business organizations will be paired with
4th, 5th and 6th grade classes at Rea
Elementary in Costa Mesa. The executives
will ride their own yellow school bus to
the school, where each individual will
teach his or her own class following
specific guidelines drafted by JA.
The curriculum focuses on the role of
individuals, families and businesses in
the local, regional and worldwide
economies. The volunteer teachers will also
have a chance to describe their own
professions and demonstrate the ways their
companies contribute to our economy.
The purpose of the event is to show
students the correlation between success in
school and quality of life, as well as to
"inspire kids to achieve." JA has a firm
commitment to teaching students from
elementary through high school age how
business works. Volunteers from AeA have
the opportunity to share their vast
knowledge of business practices while
enlightening a group of eager students.
