Who: Metro Gold Line Construction Authority,
Metropolitan Transit Authority and
Kiewit/Washington
What: The Metro Gold Line Handover Event scheduled for
Monday, July 21, 2003 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
At the Chinatown Station has been postponed.
Kiewit/Washington, the designer-builder, will
"hand over keys" to MTA and Metro Gold Line
Construction Authority at the Grand Opening Event
(see new date).
New Date: Friday, July 25, 2003 at 10 a.m.
Where: Union Station
800 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles
Information: Kiewit/Washington, the Metro Gold Line
design-build contractor will "hand over the keys"
to the Metro Gold Line project to MTA and Metro
Gold Line Construction Authority officials,
symbolizing completion of track, major structures,
facilities and systems for the innovative line.
