WHAT:       Announcement of BART-VTA Comprehensive Agreement

WHEN:       Wednesday, November 7, 10:30 a.m.

WHERE:      Fremont BART Station Plaza area.  The station is located
            at 200 BART Way, Fremont.

WHO:        Scheduled speakers include key elected and staff officials
            from BART and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation
            Authority (VTA).

WHY:        The BART-VTA Comprehensive Agreement, once ratified by
            both Boards of Directors, will be forwarded to the
            Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and will form
            the foundation for development of Silicon Valley Rapid
            Transit Corridor BART service to Milpitas, San Jose and
            Santa Clara.
