THIS WEEK'S GUESTS: Producer/former Sony Pictures' head, John
Calley and Academy Award(R) winning writer and director of "The
English Patient," Anthony Minghella. John Calley began his career in
1951 at NBC. Since then he has managed several major Hollywood
studios, including Warner Brothers, Filmways and Sony Pictures
Entertainment, and produced such films as Catch 22 and Remains of the
Day. His first project in 10 years is the upcoming The DaVinci Code,
based on the best selling novel by Dan Brown.

Anthony Minghella's film, The English Patient, which he wrote and
directed, won nine Academy Awards(R) in 1996, including Best Picture
and Best Director. He followed this success with the 1999 Best
Director Award for The Talented Mr. Ripley. His latest release, Cold
Mountain, stars Nicole Kidman, Jude Law and Renee Zellweger.

BACKGROUND: "Sunday Morning ShootOut" is a new, half-hour weekly
series on AMC hosted by entertainment industry veterans, Peter Guber
and Peter Bart. Guber is the chairman of Mandalay Pictures, former CEO
of Sony Pictures, the producer of dozens of Hollywood's most
successful movies including Midnight Express, Batman, Rainman, Basic
Instinct. Bart is editor-in-chief of Variety, and former Hollywood
reporter for The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. In his
career as an executive at Paramount Pictures and as president of
Lorimar, Bart played a major role creating classics like The
Godfather, Rosemary's Baby and The Postman Always Rings Twice.

Like other Sunday morning debate shows, the sparks fly here as
prominent producers, directors, writers and stars join the hosts to
