Who: Tokyo-bred Ami Onuki and Osaka native Yumi Yoshimura, better
known as the Japanese pop duo Puffy AmiYumi, embark on their
first ever American tour -- bringing their act to Virgin
Megastore, Chicago. Although the two were brought together by
a record label and a management company in 1995, the duo
performed in perfect unison -- creating a single, immediately
identifiable sound that makes up the group Puffy AmiYumi. Now
after over 14 million record sales in Japan, Virgin Megastore
Chicago is thrilled to help introduce the group and their
latest CD "An Illustrated History" to American music fans.
