, one of the major community foundations in California, has experienced spectacular growth in the last few years with assets of more than $740 million, including funds given for unrestricted and restricted purposes, donor-advised philanthropic funds and supporting foundations, among others. These funds are available to respond to emergencies and act a seed funds for innovative programs in the Jewish and general communities.
