WHAT: Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson joins
McFarlane Toys and spawn.com founder Todd McFarlane
to unveil McFarlane's latest rock action figures of
Eddie, the faithful mascot of the British heavy
metal band since their 1980 debut.
Two versions of Eddie will be on display. The first
figure, in stores now, is based on artwork from the
seminal 1981 "Killers" album. The second figure is
based on artwork that accompanied the single "The
Trooper," from the 1983 "Piece of Mind" album. The
Trooper figure will hit store shelves in fall 2002,
and will be publicly unveiled for the first time at
the toy fair.

OTHER: Interviews and photo opportunities with Dickinson
and McFarlane will be available.
Iron Maiden's 15-album catalog will be re-released
this year, marking the 20th anniversary of the
breakthrough album "The Number of the Beast."
Additionally the "Rock In Rio" DVD and a live album
of the same name will be released in 2002. "Rock In
Rio" was recorded on Jan. 19, 2001 in front of
250,000 fans. The album will be released March 26.
