Entertainment Editors

PHOENIX--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2002

WHAT: Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson joins
McFarlane Toys and spawn.com founder Todd McFarlane
to unveil McFarlane's latest rock action figures of
Eddie, the faithful mascot of the British heavy
metal band since their 1980 debut.

Two versions of Eddie will be on display. The first
figure, in stores now, is based on artwork from the
seminal 1981 "Killers" album. The second figure is
based on artwork that accompanied the single "The
Trooper," from the 1983 "Piece of Mind" album. The
Trooper figure will hit store shelves in fall 2002,
and will be publicly unveiled for the first time at
                  the toy fair.
