A new prescription drug prescription drug Prescription medication Pharmacology An FDA-approved drug which must, by federal law or regulation, be dispensed only pursuant to a prescription–eg, finished dose form and active ingredients subject to the provisos of the Federal Food, Drug,  benefit for seniors has been approved by the House Ways and Means WAYS AND MEANS. In legislative assemblies there is usually appointed a committee whose duties are to inquire into, and propose to the house, the ways and means to be adopted to raise funds for the use of the government. This body is called the committee of ways and means.  Committee, and is expected to be considered soon by the full House.

The Republican plan is less costly than the one supported by the Democrats, and it tries to incorporate the private sector. But does the country really need a prescription drug benefit? Is the Republican plan significantly different than the Democratic alternative? Is it a new entitlement, coming at a time when federal revenues are shrinking? And will it lead to rationing rationing, allotment of scarce supplies, usually by governmental decree, to provide equitable distribution. It may be employed also to conserve economic resources and to reinforce price and production controls. , reduced access or price controls on prescription drugs?
