What:  IKEA celebrates breaking ground on its new home furnishings
       store and restaurant destination with a groundbreaking
       ceremony. The construction of the 306,000 square-foot IKEA
       New Haven, the fourth IKEA store in tri-state area.

When:  Thursday, September 4, 2003
       11:00 AM
       Official groundbreaking remarks and ceremonial "first shovels"
       of dirt with local community members.

Where: The site of the future IKEA New Haven
       450 Sargent Drive - entrance to groundbreaking and parking is
       on Brewery Street in front of Connecticut Freezers.

       IKEA Representatives

Why:   IKEA is committed to a successful partnership with the
       community and celebrating together the initial foundation for
       the new IKEA New Haven store slated to open in Summer 2004.
       This store will be the fourth IKEA store in the tri-state area.
