WHY: "Horizon's new service to Portland and San Jose, coupled with
Alaska's service is something we've worked to obtain for 10
years," said Wally Burg, Airport President and CEO. "This new
service will help Tucson's economic development interest."
HOW: The Tucson-Portland flight departs Tucson daily at
12:40 p.m. The Portland-Tucson flight departs Portland
daily at 1:40 p.m. The two-hour-and-40-minute nonstop
flight cuts about two hours off the shortest air travel
time previously available between Tucson and Portland.
The Tucson-San Jose flights depart Tucson at 7:50 a.m. daily
except Sunday and 5:55 p.m. daily except Saturday. The San
Jose-Tucson flights depart San Jose at 9:20 a.m. daily except
Sunday and 7:25 p.m. daily except Saturday. Flight time is two
hours each way.

-- From Horizon's Portland hub, passengers can make easy
connections to Horizon nonstop flights to Boise, Eugene,
Eureka, Klamath Falls, Medford, North Bend/Coos Bay,
Pasco/Tri-Cities, Pendleton, Redding, Redmond/Bend,
Sacramento, Spokane and Vancouver, B.C.
