WHAT: HighWired.com, the world's largest online high school community, has selected six students to attend and report on next week's Republican National Convention and National Youth Convention. Each of the student journalists will receive media passes and have the opportunity to interview political leaders and cover campaign-related events. The students will write daily articles that will appear on HighWired.com's national election coverage Web site, located at www.highwired.com/election.

While covering the conventions students will have the opportunity to address issues most important to teens today. Articles will focus on violence, drug and alcohol abuse, education, career opportunities and the environment. According to according to
