910 information appliance and Nokia 9000 Communicator
act as the ultimate transmitting team. The devices work
together to free mobile professionals to communicate and
share information from any location. The devices allow
users to be more productive by enabling them to do the
following:
-- Capture an electronic copy of any business document
easily and accurately in seconds with the HP
CapShare 910 information appliance - anytime;
-- Store and view up to 50 pages in the portable 12.5-ounce
appliance, then send it to the Nokia 9000 Communicator;
and
-- Share documents with anyone, anywhere using existing
digital wireless e-mail and fax capabilities on the
Nokia 9000 Communicator.
The HP CapShare 910 information appliance is a portable,
lightweight appliance, designed to capture electronic copies
of hardcopy text and images - documents, business cards,
newspaper articles, receipts and so on - and share them
from the field with colleagues and clients. With a push of
a button, data is sent via wireless infrared technology(1),
to a notebook PC, Nokia 9000 Communicator, printer, fax or
desktop PC.
The Nokia 9000 Communicator is a smart wireless handheld
device. Far more than a full-featured GSM 1900/PCS digital
phone, the Nokia 9000 Communicator enables users to send
and receive faxes, e-mail short messages, as well as access
Internet services and corporate and public databases. The
Nokia 9000 Communicator is also a personal organizer -
the ultimate efficient personal assistant - with an
integrated calendar, contact database and to-do list.
