John Apostolopoulos is being named to the TR100 for his work in multimedia communication. He is part of the team that received a Technical Emmy award Emmy award Annual presentation for outstanding achievement in U.S. television. Its name is taken from the nickname “immy” for the image orthicon, a television camera tube. for creating the U.S. Digital TV standard and is the second consecutive Young Innovator from HP Labs.
