WHAT: With a little help from Jay Leno (re-runs) and a
recliner featuring a technological breakthrough that

Olympian couch potato, Chris Canole, will usher in
the future of furniture as he attempts to set a
world record for 99 hours of continuous TV watching.
Canole, who set a Guinness World Record 20 years ago
for holding the longest conversation (99 hours),
will spend 5 days in Lane's new recliner featuring
Human Touch Technology(TM).
SIGNIFICANCE: Global Leaders Merge to Offer Interactive Furniture
While the laid-back Canole "loads out" in a faux
family room at one of Southern California's largest
entertainment complexes, Type A corporate execs from
Interactive Health, the company that spent 20 years
developing the robotic massage(TM) technology, and
Lane Furniture will convene in High Point, N.C. The
North Carolina news conference and California event
kick-off will broadcast simultaneously via satellite
to usher in the future of interactive furniture, the
future of massage.
