ADVISORY/Greyhound Service Stopped; Experts Available to Comment About Health of Transportation Industry.

Business Editors

ADVISORY...

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2001
TOPIC: MSNBC reports that at least six people died this morning when a
Greyhound bus crashed in central Tennessee, reportedly after a passenger
attacked the driver. Although the FBI has been called into investigate,
preliminary reports say this was an isolated incident and not part of a larger
terrorist plot, the story said. The crash prompted Greyhound to halt all
service nationwide as a precaution, pulling nearly 2,000 buses off the road and
stranding thousands of passengers. Experts said they are unclear what effects
such a shut down, paired with the airline hijackings of September 11, will have
on the overall health of the transportation industry. EXPERTS: ExpertSource can
