WHAT:    Goodwill Industries of Southern California Holds First Annual
         Health Fair for Kids

WHEN:    Saturday, June 1, 2002
         10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

WHERE:   Goodwill Industries of Southern California
         342 San Fernando Road
         Los Angeles, CA 90031

WHY:     Recognizing the need to help educate families and promote
         health and safety for the community, Goodwill Industries of
         Southern California has partnered with area agencies and
         organizations to stage its first annual Health Fair for Kids.
         The Health Fair is free of charge and welcomes families with
         children.

         Joining Goodwill in this endeavor are Healthy Families
         (low-cost insurance), AltaMed Medical Clinics, Eyemed Lens
         Crafters Vision, Western Dental, American Diabetes Society
         and the American Cancer Society. Participating agencies
         include the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Los Angeles
         Police Department, the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles
         City Library, Find the Children and the Metro North
         WorkSource Center.

         The day will also feature free raffle tickets, face painting,
         clowns, balloons, snacks and games for children.
