What: Panel Discussion, "Multi-Partner Collaboration"
The supply chain industry has greatly benefited from new
technology and innovations that foster fluid and more
cohesive processes, yet challenges surrounding the
accurate management of product information remain. This
panel discussion, part of the Retail Systems 2004
TechTours(R) program, will address product development,
evolving standards and the latest issues and approaches to
overcoming the challenges of Data Synchronization.
Panelists will provide analysis on the elements of data
synchronization, including: automation and improvement of
trading partner practices; third-party providers and
consumers; global data synchronization (GDS) as the
foundation for new collaborative supply chain processes;
logistics and transportation management; and potential
project planning and implementation problems.
