WHAT: The New York State Bar Association House of
Delegates is bestowing its "Defender of Freedom"
award to Governor George Pataki and New York City
Mayor Rudy Giuliani for their extraordinary
leadership during and after the tragic September
11th terrorist attacks.
This special award was created just for this
occasion. At the House of Delegates Dinner on
Thursday evening, New York State Bar Association
President Steven C. Krane will present the awards to
Governor Pataki and Mayor Giuliani.
