WHAT:       Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will
            deliver a keynote address on the essential role of
            education in promoting global understanding and peace, to
            some 5,000 participants attending the annual conference of
            NAFSA: Association of International Educators. NAFSA is
            the world's largest association dedicated to international
            education and exchange, and its conference is the largest
            and most important gathering of administrators, policy
            experts and leaders in the field. Following her address,
            Secretary Albright will answer questions from the audience
            and will remain to sign copies of her autobiography, Madam
            Secretary: A Memoir.

ABOUT MADELEINE K. ALBRIGHT

Madeleine Korbel Albright, who served as the 64th Secretary of State of the United States SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE UNITED STATES, government. The principal officer in the Department of State. (q.v.)
