WHO: Cardinal Roger Mahoney, as one of the Pope's key advisors in
overseeing the work of the Catholic Church throughout the
world, is a member of the Pontifical Councils for Justice and
Peace, for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People,
and for Social Communications. Pope John Paul II also appointed
him to the Council of Cardinals for the Study of Organizational
and Financial Problems of the Holy See.
The Board of Rabbis is an affiliate of The Jewish Federation.
The Board is composed of more than 250 rabbis of all
denominations (Orthodox, Reform, Conservative,
Reconstructionist) located in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Rabbi Goldmark presides over The Board of Rabbis; Brad Artson
is the executive vice president.
